Here she is after the hot water got to her. The directions said leave it for 10 minutes and then check every 5 minutes. I left it for about 7 minutes and this is the effect. I wish that the cables popped in the felted version as much as they did in the original.
I originally had purchased a handle for this bag, but I didn't like the way that it looked. So I decided to make an I-cord handle. I am pleased with this look; I just need to make some modifications to the flap to make it a stand up a bit more. I wanted to add something to make it stiff, but when I asked at the yarn store I didn't get anywhere. Any suggestions on making the purse a bit more stiff?
I love the button too. This purse is not like many of my others (and yes I have a few) because it will not hold a lot of weight, but I'm ok with that. I just don't want it to flop down all the time.
