Tag, I'm It

Chan tagged me with a book tag and because I love a good read and Chan is a dear friend I thought I would play along.

Here are the rules:
Pick a book at least 123 pages long.

Open that book to page 123.

Find the fifth sentence and post the next three.

Then tag five other people to do the same.

Not reading anything at the moment, but I will post from one of my favorite books. Eat Cake by, Jeanne Ray

The whole thing seems like a brilliant magic act to me, so when she hands me a whole egg and suggests I do it by myself, you would have thought she was letting me drive the car.

"Someday, when you're very good at this, you can break them directly into the bowl, but for now you have to check yourself and maker that none of the shell falls in. Nobody wants a cake with shell in it," she says with sharp authority.

This book is a great read about someone who followed their passions to save the family. And who doesn't love a heroian who saves the day with CAKE.

Thanks Chan! And I will tag, Melissa, Michele, Bertha, Friender, Jenny (everything knitticrafty)

Have fun!

It might be slim pickings... we are moving at the end of the month and just packed most of our books! DOH!

a cotton/acrylic blend probably would have turned out with a nicer finished product. maybe i'll try one if i knit it again.

my fiance keeps assuring me that its a perfectly fine knitted item, and luckily its for non-knitters so they'll probably never know the difference. it really isn't bad, its just not... great, i guess.

I only listen to books now. Not enough time in the day to do it all and sitting in traffic her in Metro DC area is the perfect way to get around. Nothing bothers me.
