Last week the husband and I drove (or rather he drove most) to our future home - Columbus, Ohio. We found a great apartment right on N. High street. It is a kind of loft apartment with one wall of brick and a large room with a wall dividing the bedroom area, but the best thing about our new place is that I will have a dishwasher and washer and dryer inside our unit. I haven't had a dishwasher in 2 years and we haven't had a w/d in our apartment in 6 years. I say it is about time. I really enjoyed Columbus. It was super clean and everyone is really friendly. While we were there we had dinner with a fellow blogger Jenny and her husband at Spagio's Cellars. Another night we also met and had dinner with a fellow Ravelryer Marisa (Ravelry link) and her boyfriend at Surly Girl Saloon. It was a great visit with some new friends. I think Columbus is going to be wonderful. On the way home we got to see Niagara Falls!!

o it was fun to actually see it in person. It was unbelievably beautiful. The noise, the view, the mist - it was breathtaking.
