Spring Into Summer: Dishcloth Swap Contest

I just signed up for the "Spring into Summer - Dishcloth Exchange" and was asked to write what I am looking forward to most about the summer. So here it goes....

I am looking forward to being outside riding my bike, walking around
the city, sitting in the park knitting before work,
"Shakespeare in the Park" (a free festival here in Boston, 'Midsummer Nights Dream'
this year, YES!), longer warmer nights, going on vacation to Austria,
having visits from my sisters and friends, having parties (Passion Party), making ICE CREAM/SORBET and most of all I am looking forward to FLIP FlOPS, TANK TOPS, and SKIRTS!!!!

How TRUE on Flip flops. Anything that doesn't require wearing socks works oh so well for me. Then again, I've been in sandals for over a month.. almost 2? at least that long here :p There are SOME benefits to living in the South!

Hooray!! You signed up for this swap.

I am not a flip flop person but love sandals and even walking on the grass with no shoes so I can totally get it

Go, toes!! I never got the whole park thing until I visited my mother in Urbana, IL. We really don't have parks around here. Now I know what I'm missing, but I'm a country girl anyway, so I have my big yard, the trails my hubby made in the woods... and Ashlawn-Highland's summer opera festival.

Awww, this all sounds like the absolutely perfect summer! But hey, wait... vacation in Austria? Yay for that!!! May I ask where you'll be going? Somewhere close to Innsbruck perhaps?

How I wish I could see the Shakespeare in the park! When is it exactly? We are going to Maine this summer and we usually drive down to Boston for the day. Your summer sounds wonderful! Enjoy.
