Today I made my very first batch of canned jam. My MIL sent me Marionberries(a type of blackberry) and so I decided to put them and my left over jars to good use. Cross your fingers that it turns out! I am also making Applesauce in the crock pot. You can beat homemade applesauce! While preparing my homemade goodies I was also doing laundry and now my sockza socks have been washed and are drying on my lovely blockers. While on my daily trip through my favorite knitting blogs I came about Michelle's blog and guess what I discovered? She nominated me for a Rockin Girl Blogger! Isn't that so cool!! Thank you so much Michelle. It is an honor that you thought of me!
What is also cool is that I get to meet Michelle next week and have some fun shopping around for yarns and such here in Boston.

Grew up on homemade applesauce..chunky cinnamon, its the best!! I still can it when I cna get enough apples..I've even bought bags of apples just to make it..lol

Congratulations on the award. Well deserved! How I envy your trip to Shakespeare in the Park. I used to visit the American Players Theater in Spring Green, WI, every summer for my
