The 3 P's....

Progress: I am working on finishing Jason's 2nd sock and I am so close I can taste it. I hope to have that done sometime in the next week so that I can cast on for my first pair of socks for me. I think I am going to attempt doing them toe up! I am working on finishing 2 hats for a co-worker; I have to get these done before the weather here in Boston decides to actually get cold.

Presents: Chan, Mary and I were hosts on the K1 T2 Swap and let me just say that through it all, these ladies were and are wonderful. Jessi sponsored our contests as well as sending along something for us - the beautiful tea stitch markers (on the left). Nancy and Holly sent lovely 'Thank You' gifts for hosting the swap. Nancy set along this adorable tea plate who looks just like my Owen. Holly sent these gorgeous stitch markers (on the right). Thank you ladies for the thoughtful gifts. They will be put to very good use!

Pondering: Where do I start on my XMAS knitting? Do I start with the small projects that are quick and easy or do I start with the bigger items and work the little stuff on the side. This is apparently what I do to avoid actually starting the knitting. Perhaps I should just start it....

Guess what! I got to meet a fellow blogger on Friday. I met with Jen from Friender and her daughter Mia for lunch here in Boston and it was fabulous. We had such a great time and although I didn't get a photo, it was a very memorable time. She is just as kind and wonderful in person as she is on her blog. If only we lived closer....

I leave you with my 2 babies, Nicolae and Owen -be thankful for our furry friends!

:) We had such a nice lunch with you. Thanks again for meeting with us. I hope Mia wasn't communicable then and that you didn't catch anything from her! And I hope we can see you again in person soon.

Those socks look great! I went to my knitting group last night, and 2 of the ladies were knitting socks I've only seen on blogs..the monkey socks and the potomous (?) socks. the monkey socks were nice, but the potomous? gorgeous. Like I said, I appreciate the patterns.
btw...I did not know Owen was a black kittie! I'd only seen a pick of Nicolae in my stalking of your blog during the swaps. :-)

oh p.s....I'd start on the bigger projects and work on the little ones on the side for your Christmas knitting. Time sneaks up on us, as we know, especially in your business!

Love your tea plate too, especially since it looks like Owen! That photo at the end is precious... that should be the 4th p.

I'd get all the little things out of the way so you could focus on the big things... at least that's what I'm doing. Evilevilfacecloths.

I've been working on all my dishcloths, too. I've been knocking out atleast two a week. I should have plenty when Christmas rolls around. I hope. LOL

Wow! Nicolae looks just like our Puss. :-)

Such adorable kitties!

I'm trying to get little projects out of the way for Christmas, but have also decided that might just be my way of avoiding anything larger LOL I think perhaps cast on for the big ones and when you absolutely must have a break or are suffering due to lack of FO-ness, knit up something small and quick :D
