I do actually still knit around here and to prove it I took a picure of my Shetland Triangle in progress....Now although this is an easy pattern to remember if you forget stupid things like YO the stitch count will be off and you will have to rip back as I have had to do numerous times. It will be well worth this effort when I am finished. I am loving the look and feel of this yarn, however I do wish it was a bit less fuzzy with fly aways.
To the right you will find some delicious Ciabatta that I made last week. This is one of our favorite breads. The formula is from Ciril Hitz book, Baking Artisan Bread. I made this partly for our Turkey day stuffing and partly just to enjoy. We made it into French toast and that was a big hit as well. I also made Pumpkin Bread (Jason's favorite minus some of the spices). This is by far and away the best pumpkin bread I have ever tasted. It is moist, flavorful, and delicious! And it uses a whole can of Pumpkin instead of 7/8 of it (I find this so annoying!)
And lastly here is my family taking a 'cat' nap....

I just ordered that book!
Love the napping photo!
Mmm, the ciabatta looks so good! Is that Jason's head modeling your shawl?
That looks like my hubby when he naps. lol One arm thrown over his head and a couple of cats for warmth.
Yum, your food always looks so tasty. Can't wait til they add smell feature to our computers.
You have certainly gotten further in your first lace then I did. Your family napping reminds me of my Father napping with the kittys. Great photo.
