One Down, One to Go

I finished the one sock and now I am to start the next. And then I get to buy the yarn for my new tank top! This is my first experience knitting socks ( Jason and I just realized that we have been living in Boston to long, because I have been spelling Socks like Sox as in the Red Sox) LOL!
The sock seems to fit well, but a bit on the tight side. I used my normal cast on which is the long tail. I'm not sure this is the right cast on for future socks. It appears to be a bit on the snug side in terms of getting the sock over the foot. For a first time sock I am pleased with the result, although for next time I do plan on using a different yarn on smaller needles.
